David C. Edmonds was raised in Louisiana and Mississippi. He is a former Marine, Peace Corps volunteer, Senior Fulbright Professor of Economics and academic dean. He studied at Louisiana State, Notre Dame, and Georgetown universities before earning a Ph.D. in international economics from American University in Washington, DC.
Dr. Edmonds has spent considerable time in Latin America as both a U.S. government official and a scholar. He’s written five non-fiction books, ghosted two others, and is the recipient of the Literary Award of the Louisiana Library Association.
Edmonds and his wife live in Florida.
